After two years of hard work and diligence, the organic leafy greens pioneer recently announced its Gonzales facility received Equitable Food Initiative (EFI) certification. This makes the Gonzales facility one of the first processing-only facilities to be certified in the U.S., and one of the first EFI-certified operations located in the Salinas Valley. Misionero’s Yuma, Arizona, facility is also in the process of certification.
