EFI is Making an Impact: Evaluation Report

Equitable Food Initiative - Driving ChangeEFI is driving change across agricultural systems in substantial ways, according to a new evaluation report by BSD Consulting.

The report outlines five areas where EFI is having impact:

  1. developing skills and capacity
  2. integrating management systems
  3. creating organizational culture shifts
  4. using a multi-stakeholder approach to systemic change
  5. improving working conditions

As a new organization, we are committed to working with our certified growers to develop processes to track our impacts. Although the report represents a small sample size, the results are favorable and reinforce our belief that skill building and system change is an effective way to improve labor conditions, food safety and pesticide management.
