The EFI label may be applied to EFI-certified produce, as stated in the licensing agreement. The license holder is responsible for ensuring that the label appears only on EFI certified produce and that the premium is collected from participating retail buyers. Download the Label Guidelines & Usage:Promotional Use
While working toward certification, many operations find it beneficial to use the EFI logo within their operations to help the greater workforce identify EFI Leadership Team members and to recognize the organization behind the standards they are being asked to uphold. You may choose to use the EFI logo separately, the Responsibly Grown, Farmworker Assured label separately or both components together as long as they meet EFI design standards. The EFI label or logo should only be used externally (at trade shows, on website, letterhead, etc.) after multiple locations within your supply chain have been certified. Reference the guidelines for details and examples.
