Webinars, seminars and courses are designed to align to the Ethical Charter on Responsible Labor Practices and provide introductory knowledge and skills to pursue EFI Certification. Seminars are offered as introductions to topics and workshops and courses dive deeper to build applicable knowledge and skills for managers, supervisors and workers.
Registering multiple attendees from a single farming operation creates shared knowledge to begin to implement key social responsibility initiatives.

Meet Our Facilitators
Alice Linsmeier
Alice is currently the Manager of Organization and Workforce Development of EFI. In her capacity at EFI she is responsible for working with workers and their employers in recognizing and developing skills and competency for working together on issues of workforce education and development, improved work conditions and environment.
She has facilitated farmworker management Leadership Team trainings within EFI’s certification program from its inception in 2012. In addition, she facilitates the international LT Advisory Committee, comprised of frontline farmworkers and managers from all the LTs. Alice integrates her experience in popular education and adult education that she has learned from her greatest teachers, the farmworker communities in Central America, Mexico, United States and Canada for decades. They have inspired her to earn a teaching credential and a Masters in International Multicultural Education and contribute to her continuous learning and improvement.
Kevin Boyle
Kevin Boyle is currently the Director of Organization and Workforce Development at EFI. In his capacity at EFI he is responsible for working with growers and their employees in developing skills and competency for working together on issues of workforce education and development, improved work environment, food safety and sustainable pest management.
His experience ranges from designing and facilitating from total factory redesign in the chemical, manufacturing, textile and telecommunications industries in US, Canada and Europe; also redesign and process improvement in agriculture, service (public and private), healthcare organizations and union organizations. He has facilitated over 200 collective bargaining sessions using an interest-based approach to reach common agreement on labor and management interest and needs in negotiations in the US and Europe.
Kevin also facilitated the multi-stakeholders from agriculture, growers and unions; retailers, food safety, social responsibility, integrated pest management and workforce educators to develop and create what is today the Equitable Food Initiative.
Lilian Autler, MA
Lilian is an educator and facilitator with extensive experience in project management, organizational development, research and fundraising. She worked for ten years in organizational and workforce development with EFI, training worker-manager teams on agricultural operations in North and South America. Previously, she worked as an adult educator with immigrant workers in union, workplace and community settings and as a community development planner. Lilian mas a master’s degree in urban/regional planning and bring content knowledge related to food systems, environmental sustainability, climate adaptation, and community development. She deeply believes in the power of play and creative expression to build connections between people across cultural, class and educational diversity. She is currently based in Massachusetts.
Lulu Rivera
Lulu’s facilitation style is rooted in adult education principles, where she values the learner’s experience and encourages reflection, self-directed learning, and practical application. She designs dynamic, participatory learning experiences that empower adult learners to build upon their existing knowledge and skills. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she combines her facilitation expertise with strategic planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement to drive organizational success. Her commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments create spaces where individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities and organizations.
