At EFI we know that each operation we certify is unique, that’s why we developed our Customized Audit Approach.
Our approach allows you to choose the audit plan that works best for your business and satisfies your customer requirements. With a foundation of Social Responsibility and a Culture of Food Safety, you can pick and choose what add-ons your customers are asking for:
- Social Responsibility – Required for all EFI Certification audits
- Culture of Food Safety Addendum – Required for all EFI Certification audits
- Processing and Packhouse Standards -Required for all packhouse audits
- IPM/Pollinator Health – Optional add-on
- Ethical Charter Addendum – Optional add-on (required for all Walmart requested audits)
- What you bring: a current GFSI-benchmarked food safety certification
The Custom Audit Approach
An operation can choose to audit for Social Responsibility with the Culture of Food Safety Addendum only, or choose what additions work best. Maybe that’s adding on IPM/Pollinator health, or maybe you tack on your packhouse, and/or you add on the Ethical Charter Addendum.
