For Farmworkers

Working on an EFI-certified Farm

EFI knows that farmworkers are on the front lines and are often the first to detect problems and identify solutions during production and harvest. On EFI farms, workers are engaged to identify and help solve those problems and they receive training, support and benefits for that effort.

The benefits to working on an EFI-certified farm, include:

  • Better working conditions and fair compensation.
  • Training and respect for your skills.
  • Active role in protecting your own health and well-being, our food and the environment.

Issues Relating to Standards

If you feel that there is an issue with the EFI-certified farm where you work in meeting the EFI Standards, please use the following steps to help ensure the issue is addressed:

  1. Communicate your concern with your Leadership Team. If that is not successful, then
  2. Share the concern with your Human Resources Department. If that is not successful, then
  3. Contact EFI to get the contact information for the Certifying Body that grants and monitors certification.

Find Work With an EFI-certified Farm

As a certification program for farms, we do not hire farmworkers directly, but we encourage you to inquire about opportunities with our certified farms.
